Hello everyone! 

My name is Ivana and I am from Venezuela! I am a professional flautist with 10 years of studies in flute performance at the Conservatory of Music "Simon Bolivar". I currently study at MSU School of Music and play in different ensembles such as Symphony Orchestra and Musiqe 21. I taught flute for over 8 years at "El Sistema". Currently, I teach to all my students online. Throughout my musical career I have participated in festivals and seminars in different states of Venezuela, I have been selected as a soloist for various recitals with piano and orchestra. I was the principal flute in the Regional Orchestra of Tachira State for over 8 years and leader of the flute school Tachira State, North Zone. I love to see my students grow in their learning path and find their way to express themselves with music!

My teaching style depends on what goal the student wants to achieve.  
I am passionate about teaching flute and really enjoy how students inspire me in life. I always focus on expanding children’s interests on music and incorporate music activities such as concerts, performances, and competitions to encourage and build children’s confidence. By utilizing these methods, I am able to reach out to each student and give them a fun learning environment, and help them to develop their talents while nurturing their passion for music.

I have taught flute at all levels including beginners, intermediate and advanced. I love working with students of all ages and experience levels and I can't wait to meet you!
