This class meets 2x/a week. Hello friends! This course is designed to effectively teach phonics and reading skills. I incorporate games, interactive activities, and learning types to keep students engaged. Depending on where your child is, we will cover letter sounds, cvc words, long and short vowels, blends, digraphs, high-frequency words, syllables, and reading strategies. I have a Masters degree in Reading Instruction from Florida International University. I have taught primary grades for fifteen years and worked as a reading interventionist for grades 1-5.
For class students will need: -paper -pencil -whiteboard and marker -printables will be provided ahead of time if needed for class
