私人 1-1 文法練習 3-6 年級：發展文法理解

Welcome to my class everyone!

This one to one tutoring is designed to help all students develop a love of Grammar and begin to feel confident in their abilities.  It will include a mixture of  learning, games, practice and quizzes, starting from where your child is at.  

Every lesson will begin with a recap of the learning from the previous week.  There will be a warm-up activity to get us started followed by concentrating on one area in particular your child is needing more support with.  Every session will end with a quick game to finish off on a positive note.  The session will include slides, games, questions and discussions with me.  It will include a chance to interact on the screen and paper and pencil can also be used if preferred.

Some of the areas we can cover will be:
- Word classes, e.g. nouns, pronouns, verbs, adverbs, etc.
- Types of punctuation.
- Verb tenses: Past, present and future tense.
- The use of Standard English.
And lots more!

The first session will be a time where I can get to know your child and see what their starting point is.  Each session will cover one of the main grammar objectives and will be taught with a quick recap, more intense learning time and some consolidation.  I would plan your lessons weekly so that we can move at the pace your child needs and make sure they are secure in their understanding.  They might also request something they are struggling with at school or need some extra support with their homework.

My aim is to fit as much Grammar into a small time frame with short, snappy tasks that will be fun and provide a challenge - therefore, leaving your child with a real sense of achievement.

We can meet 1-2 times per week depending on your schedule.
