Beginner 等級
Class begins with an opener activity to inspire creativity and connection. Learners will learn a process to create a print plate starting with a photo that they've selected before class. The plate will be used to create different versions of the self portrait with varied backgrounds. Students will be guided to add creative individual touches to add interest to the finished work. I will demonstrate and describe each step as the project progresses, while inviting questions and checking in with students at each step along the way to make sure every students is engaged and proceeding with understanding. I create a welcoming classroom space that fosters a joyous and welcoming environment, with attention to inclusivity so that all students can enjoy a positive art making experience, and learn or develop the skill of printmaking. All experience levels are welcome.

Gain printmaking and design skills as they learn to create their portraits series.Learn basic printmaking vocabulary, how to use the printmaking tools we engage with and a brief history of printmaking.
