💫 Welcome, Little Stars! 💫
Join us in a fun and exciting adventure as we learn math, together! Your little star will reach their full potential and have fun learning with new weekly math skills, songs, games, and activities every week! Our class is a safe and happy place for all learners.
During our weekly classes, your little one will learn how to identify numbers, write numbers, count, add and subtract to 20, order numbers, make patterns, identify shapes, and more. They will build a strong early math and social-emotional foundation. They will receive expert guidance from a certified early elementary educator every step of the way!
Our class will meet 2 times per week (Monday + Wednesday or Tuesday + Thursday). No class on Friday unless I notify parents otherwise. Each class will last 30 minutes.
Each week, we will focus on a particular math topic, sing songs, play games, and more. We will review numbers 0-20 each class and do fun activities together.

🎨 This schedule will rotate so when we finish Week 16, we will start over with Week 1, but with new weekly themes. 🎨

- Sharing time: Students can share their worksheets, one thing they loved about the class, or one item that is related to the topic of the week!
📚 Continuous Support 📚
I will provide parents with worksheets to print and have their learners complete during or after class. These are optional and your child can use a whiteboard or blank paper at home if you would prefer. Crayons or colored pencils are helpful to have during class time.
I will mute all students when needed to minimize background noise. Please make sure your learner either knows how to mute/unmute. Please sit with them during class so they are able to share when it's their turn. I want your little learner to feel excited to share and not get frustrated when they cannot unmute themselves. From the teacher side of Zoom, we can only "ask to unmute" but the student will have to actually click the button to unmute themselves.

I will share a monthly newsletter in the classroom at the start of every month. This newsletter will be a valuable resource for you, containing weekly topics we will cover, any schedule changes, and helpful tips and tricks to support your learners at home. Let's work together to create a nurturing and successful learning environment where your child can thrive!

Parents are encouraged to help students with the first class if this is their child's first experience in an online class. An account is not necessary for Google Drive or YouTube. I will be using these resources during our classes but you will not need to access them before/after class.

Hi, everyone!
My name is Chantal Macias, and I live in Florida, USA. I am a certified teacher who has 20+ years of experience working with young children.
I have officially taught Kindergarten for 7 years and homeschooled my child during the toddler and preschool years. I also have experience tutoring, volunteering in classrooms and teaching ESL, ESE and Gifted students. I love using my own curriculum to help young children get ready for Kindergarten through fun hands-on activities.
While I homeschooled my child, I also taught children in other countries online. It was so inspiring to watch them learn and grow even though they lived across the world from me. I believe all children have the right to the best education possible, whether that is in a traditional class or at home.
When your child enters my class, they are going to embark on a fun journey into the world of preschool and Kindergarten through digital and printable themed activity packs that are designed for toddlers and preschoolers that included reading, math, science, art, and music activities! The best part about teaching my students is watching those lightbulb moments and seeing the wonder in their eyes when they learn something new. My goal is to make learning fun while keeping things simple so they grow to be confident, motivated, and empowered.
