Welcome to our exciting pre-k to kindergarten class! We are a group of licensed educators thrilled to invite your preschooler or kindergartener to join our engaging and interactive virtual class hosted by Quantum Montessori. This class is designed to spark curiosity and foster a love for learning in young minds. We meet over Zoom twice a week for 1.5 hours each session, offering a rich blend of activities that integrate STEAM, Social and Emotional Learning (SEL), and Literacy.

IN OUR CLASS, WE WILL:

WHAT MAKES THIS CLASS UNIQUE?

Although I do not have Montessori credentials, I bring a wealth of experience and a passion for early childhood education. Our program is fully accredited by CONGIA, ensuring a high-quality learning experience for your child. Each session is carefully crafted to create a nurturing environment that encourages exploration, independence, and a love for learning.

CLASS OUTLINE

Our class will continue on for the full 2 year cycle breaking every 12 weeks to reevaluate and make adjustments based on learner needs.

📘 Week 2: Exploring Our World: An Introduction to Education
Focus: ELA, math, science, social studies, and economics lessons integrated with journaling and SEL activities.

📕 Week 3: Language Adventures: Building Foundations in Literacy
Focus: Letter recognition, sight words, phonics, and basic reading and writing skills.

📙 Week 4: Numbers in Action: Exploring Math Concepts
Focus: Counting, basic operations, and problem-solving through hands-on STEAM projects.

📗 Week 5: Our World, Our Community: Understanding Social Sciences
Focus: Geography, culture, history, and basic economic principles with journaling and SEL activities.

5.  I don’t have any experience homeschooling, will I need to help my child with their work?

Our virtual program was created with both learners and their families in mind. Learners do not need to have previous Montessori experience and home-educators do not need to have any previous teaching experience for their learner to participate in our classes.
