Hello parents and learners! Thank you for checking out my class! Here is what you can expect: My focus during this class will be on the whole development of the child (physical, cognitive, social/emotional). We will touch on a large variety of subjects such as literacy/phonics, math, science, and pre/early writing skills. The teaching style I use is a combination of teacher-lead and child-lead learning experiences. While I have a plan and direction for class, the curriculum is meant to...
-a whiteboard with dry erase markers (not necessary, but an easy tool for your learner!) -paper -crayons, markers, or colored pencils -red, yellow, and blue paint with paint brushes (These supplies are optional. They will be used during the science portion of the class. If you cannot provide your learner with these supplies, do not worry! Your learner will still be able to benefit by watching and engaging in conversation.)
