💫  Welcome, Little Stars!  💫

Join us in a fun and exciting adventure as we learn our ABCs, together! Your little star will reach their full potential and have fun learning with new weekly letters, songs, games, and crafts every week! Our class is a safe and happy place for all learners.

During our weekly classes, your little one will learn how to identify, write, and recognize all of the letter names and sounds of the alphabet. They will build a strong early literacy and social-emotional foundation. They will receive expert guidance from a certified early elementary educator every step of the way!

Our class will meet 2 times per week (Monday + Wednesday or Tuesday + Thursday). No class on Friday unless I notify parents otherwise. Each class will last 30 minutes.

Each week, we will focus on 2 letters, sing songs, play games, practice writing, and make crafts with the letters of the week. We will review the entire alphabet each class and do fun activities together.

- Week 1 (9/16-20/24): Letters A and B, apple and butterfly crafts
- Week 2 (9/23-27/24): Letters C and D, cat and dog crafts
- Week 3 (9/30-10/4/24): Letters E and F, elephant and fish crafts
- Week 4 (10/7-11/24): Letters G and H, gumball and house crafts
- Week 5 (10/14-18/24): Letters I and J, ice cream and jellyfish crafts
- Week 6 (10/21-25/24): Letters K and L, kite and leaf crafts
- Week 7 (10/28-11/1/24): Letters M and N, moon and nest crafts
- Week 8 (11/4-7/24): Letters O and P, octopus and penguin crafts
- Week 9 (11/11-15/24): Letters Q and R, quilt and rainbow crafts
- Week 10 (11/18-22/24): Letters S and T, sun and taco crafts
- Week 11 (12/2-6/24): Letters U and V, umbrella and vase crafts
- Week 12 (12/9-13/24): Letters W and X, watermelon and x-ray crafts
- Week 13 (12/16-20/24): Letters Y and Z, yacht and zebra crafts
    
🎨 This schedule will rotate so when we finish Week 13, we will start over with Week 1. 🎨

👋 End of Class 👋 :
- Sharing time: Students can share their worksheets, one thing they loved about the class, their letter craft, or one item that begins with the focused letters of the week! 

📚 Continuous Support 📚

I will provide parents with worksheets to print and have their learners complete during or after class. These are optional and your child can use a whiteboard or blank paper at home if you would prefer. Crayons or colored pencils are helpful to have during class time.

I will mute all students when needed to minimize background noise. Please make sure your learner either knows how to mute/unmute. Please sit with them during class so they are able to share when it's their turn. I want your little learner to feel excited to share and not get frustrated when they cannot unmute themselves. From the teacher side of Zoom, we can only "ask to unmute" but the student will have to actually click the button to unmute themselves.

I will share a monthly newsletter in the classroom at the start of every month. This newsletter will be a valuable resource for you, containing weekly topics we will cover, any schedule changes, and helpful tips and tricks to support your learners at home. Let's work together to create a nurturing and successful learning environment where your child can thrive!
