In this weeklong math summer boot camp class, we will be reviewing all of the following prerequisite concepts that will help students prepare for taking AP Statistics. To succeed in this class, it is best for students to have completed up through Algebra II.

Monday - Fractions, Decimals, Percentages & Linear Equations
Tuesday - Logarithms
Wednesday - Data Displays and Scatter Plots
Thursday - Mean, Median, and Mode
Friday - Introduction to Probability

Each lesson will be taught through slides while students take down notes in their notebooks. We will discuss each concept as it arises to make sure all students understand and ask questions that they may have. The slides will also include examples that we will work through together. Students are encouraged to share their problem solving strategies with the class as we work through example problems. If we finish the class material early, I will give students an assessment through Khan Academy to review the concepts we have covered. If we have additional time before the course ends, I will start to go over some AP Statistics topics.
