In these ongoing tutoring sessions, students will prepare for the rigors of middle school writing! We will engage together in games, activities and written assignments to sharpen writing skills. We start with an assessment of reading comprehension and grammar skills and move on to written assignments. Topics include: *Vocabulary building *Grammar *Punctuation *Complex sentences *Paragraph writing *Essay writing *Creative writing Through participation in the class, students will be given...
Students will improve their writing skills through assignments that involve careful revision of multiple drafts. By the end of the sessions students will be able to write a 5 paragraph essay with ease.
I have had the joy of teaching, tutoring, and coaching students from around the world for nearly 20 years! I have earned a TESOL certification, a Master’s Degree in Teaching & Learning: Special Education, a Graduate Certificate in e-learning Technology and Design: Instructional Design, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. My experiences as a Book Writing and Creativity Coach have helped my students and clients to let go of fears and write with grace and ease. They have written stories and books that they are proud of and have touched hearts and inspired others with their words.
