Comprehension is the main goal of anything we read. Often, for both children and adults, stories and information we read that lack any prior knowledge or interest can be challenging to understand. This one-time class introduces the DRTA strategy to help comprehend unfamiliar reading topics. Each student will read an informational story written at his or her reading level.
