Welcome to the Pre-Veterinary Summer Camp! In this exciting and educational virtual class, young animal lovers will join me, Ms. Hannah, in exploring the fascinating world of veterinary science. Through an interactive lesson plan, fun facts about animals, and engaging discussions, learners will gain a deeper understanding of what it means to be a veterinarian and how they can care for animals.

Having graduated with a bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science, I have a lot of knowledge and experience in this field that I am excited to share. Learners will hear about various animal species, their habitats, behaviors, and how veterinarians play a crucial role in keeping animals healthy. They will also explore basic veterinary skills and the importance of compassion and empathy in animal care.

Some of the topics that will be covered include:
- Different animal species and their characteristics
- The Different types of veterinarians (e.g., Companion Animal, Large Animal, Exotic Animal)
- The role of a veterinarian in animal welfare
- The day-to-day life and responsibilities of a veterinarian
- How to become a veterinarian

 During the lesson, I will use a variety of teaching methods to keep learners engaged and excited about the topic, including giving an engaging presentation with visuals and storytelling, showing video clips that give learners a glimpse into the world of animal science, and inviting questions and discussion about animal care, veterinary careers, and related topics. In addition, at the end of the class there will be an optional Kahoot (a fun and interactive quiz) that covers what they learned during class. 

My teaching style is interactive and inclusive, encouraging learners to ask questions, share their thoughts, and participate in activities. I aim to create a supportive and fun learning environment where every learner feels valued and motivated to learn more about animals and veterinary science.

Through this online summer camp, learners will not only gain knowledge about animals and veterinary science but also develop a deeper appreciation for the incredible world of animal care and welfare.
