課堂經歷
In this ongoing course, students will continue to learn to read the wonderful Bob books. Bob books are an amazing way to enable your child to build the foundations to read. In each class, your child will learn/reinforce new phonics sounds and practice blending them together to read short words. During each class, we will read one book and then practice the formation of the letters learned in the book. (Worksheet will be provided to print ahead of the class.) We will also practice finding different words that begin with the sounds we are learning. All classes are taught in a fun and multi sensory way to keep young learners engaged and to enjoy their learning. These classes are kept as low numbers due to the students taking it in turns to read parts of the story. I also offer these classes on a 1:1 basis, please message me for more info. Hello! My name is Vicki. I am a mum to my beautiful 5 year old son and I am also a fully qualified primary school teacher. I LOVE to teach and I have been teaching for 15 years.
I have taught students from age 3 up to 11 years in a UK primary school and I specialize in teaching early years students and students with special educational needs.
For the past 2 years I have also been teaching online alongside my school teaching job. Online I have taught students from age 3 to 16.
I love to make teaching fun for the student and I often relate my classes to popular TV characters to engage children further. I teach in a multi sensory way as I think that is how children learn best and it helps to create a lifelong love of learning.
