In this 6 week Pre-Ballet Dance Class, a warm up will be taught through basic Ballet Barre Exercises. We will then work on movement through center and across the floor exercises. Each week we will explore a new Ballet step! Various ballet combinations will be taught and engaging dance games will be played throughout the course. Week One: All about Plie Review Ballet Feet positions, Ballet Barre, Ulili E Game, Leaps and Reverence! Week Two: Arms, Arms and more Arms Ballet Barre, Review...
Your child will learn beginner ballet dance steps with various patterns in a creative learning environment. Dancing to music will also teach the student how to develop musicality. And most of all, learn to have fun and enjoy movement!
Please make sure your child is in an area where they can move around freely. Also, having a water bottle nearby during class is encouraged. Students will want to be in comfortable clothes that they can easily move in and hair pulled back. By signing up for this class you should understand that when participating in any exercise or dance program, there is the possibility of physical injury. If you engage in these online dance classes, you agree that you do so at your own risk, are voluntarily participating in these activities, assume all risk of injury to yourself.
