This Pre-AP Chemistry class is designed for students planning to take AP Chemistry in the near future. It provides a strong foundation by covering essential topics such as atomic theory, atomic structure, matter and its properties, physical and chemical changes, and scientific methods and measurements, among others. For a complete list of topics, please refer to the syllabus. Each week, key concepts will be explained in a simple, engaging way, with practical examples where applicable to enhance understanding. This class will be interactive, encouraging student participation. Towards the end of each session, students will demonstrate their understanding through review questions. Classes will be held twice a week for seven weeks. And there will be weekly homework to help students students practice what they learnt in class.
