This class is part of a series of classes meant to provide opportunities for students to review and practice math concepts typically taught in 8th grade, Pre-Algebra, and Algebra 1 math classes. The focus of this class is exponents. Below is a list of concepts that we will be covering during this course. •Day One: Exponents with Negative, Decimal, and Fractional Bases •Day Two: Negative Exponents •Day Three: Multiply Exponents •Day Four: Divide Exponents •Day Five: Powers of Powers •Day Six: Rational Exponents *Please note, this class meets on a set schedule. Please review the schedule before enrolling to verify that it matches your learners availability. Missed class meetings will not be rescheduled or refunded. Thank you!

Hello! I have been teaching and working in the public school setting for the past nineteen years, and tutoring privately for the past ten years. I have worked with students ranging from kindergarten to eighth grade in math, reading, writing mechanics, American History, and beginning Spanish. I especially enjoy working with students in small groups or individually, and developed skills as an online educator when schools had to close for the pandemic. I have continued to work online with learners today, and truly enjoy it. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy watching television and movies, and traveling with my family.評論
