Bom dia!

Welcome to "Practice Portuguese Conversation" for Portuguese learners of any level! 
In this class, we will talk with the goal of improving vocabulary knowledge and confidence when speaking in a second language. 
Each class is prepared by Ms. Lambert, a native speaker, and we will focus on simple conversations and useful vocabulary. To make it fun, we may talk about fun facts about Brazil and Portugal.

Below are the suggested topics for each week:

Greetings and Introductions in Portuguese
Directions and How to Get Around
Making Purchases and Ordering Food
Body Parts names (vocabulary)
Family Connections: "Who's Who" in a family
Furniture and Personal Objects


I will be happy to prepare classes with different topics, according to the themes suggested during class by the learner.

We will be sharing the screen on Zoom with a whiteboard for annotation, as well as slide presentations prepared for the learner.

About accents: Although my native accent is a standard-neutral Brazilian accent, I teach my learners their words and sentences in a neutral Portuguese accent if preferred, so they can be understood anywhere where Portuguese is spoken. Keep in mind that accents vary greatly in different areas of Portugal, Brazil, and Africa.
