In this semester long course, students will explore topics from the grades 7 and 8 math curriculums and use their skills to solve practical math problems. This course will cover order of operations, variable equations, linear relationships, geometry, statistics, ratios, and perfect squares. We will also review key components of algebra. Teacher Mel has been teaching math at various levels for over 8 years. She holds an undergraduate accounting degree and worked as a corporate accountant prior to teaching. She has a passion for making math both fun and accessible for all students.
