In this one-time class, students will learn about acids, bases and pH as well as play fun Pokémon quiz games to test them on what they’ve learned. Students will learn:

- What are acids and bases?
- What are the properties of acids and bases?
- What is pH and how does it relate to acids and bases?

The format of this class will be a mixture of presentation and lecture. 

This is a Pokémon themed class. All of the quiz games we play incorporate Pokémon. I try to weave Pokémon into the material as I can, but it is not saturated with Pokémon.

Students should know what an atom is and what ions are. If they don’t, I recommend first taking my class “Pokémon Chemistry:  Introduction to Atoms, Elements and Molecules” or another similar class.
