This is an ongoing class where every week we will experience exercise from the perspective of Pokémon! Get ready to bob like a Bulbasaur, jump like a Jolteon and move like a Machamp! Each Week, we will be introduced to 16 out of 649 different Pokémon and learn to move like them. Because this is an ongoing class, almost every class will be a different experience. We will incorporate warming up, stretching key muscle groups and ensuring that we all stay hydrated with a water break in the middle. The class agenda will be as follows: - 4 min warm up and stretching - 8 mins of exercising like Pokémon - 1 min water break - 8 Mins of MORE exercising like Pokémon! - 4 min cool-down and stretching I want to stress that athletes of all different kinds are welcomed! Each student should feel welcome to experience this class at their own pace. *I recommend for students microphones to be muted while we are exercising so that they can clearly hear instruction and her the Pokemon changes that occur through out the lesson.

In This class, we will be moving around and working up quite a sweat. Each class will ensure a proper warm up that is followed by a stretching session to drastically lower the probability of common injury such as strained muscles or sprained joints. Tennis shoes, not running shoes are recommended but not required. It is always recommended that you consult with a Doctor before engaging in any physical activity. Students with known respiratory or other physical ailments that are aggravated by physical activity are recommended to have parental supervision during the class.
