Welcome to Pokemon Paragraph Academy! At Pokemon Paragraph Academy, your learner will embark on a unique and exciting journey through the Pokemon world, all while mastering the art of paragraph writing. This innovative class is designed to make learning fun and engaging, as learners "travel" from region to region, capturing Pokemon who will assist them in becoming skilled writers. Throughout the course, learners will explore three types of writing: opinion, informative, and narrative. They will learn how to express their views, share information clearly, and tell captivating stories. ✨Brainstorming: Learners will begin their adventure by generating creative ideas for their writing. ✨Organizing and Planning: Next, they’ll learn how to organize their thoughts and plan their paragraphs, ensuring their ideas are structured and coherent. ✨First Draft: As they progress, learners will draft their first paragraphs, encouraged to put their ideas on paper without fear of making mistakes. ✨Revision and Editing: Learners will learn to revise their work, improving clarity, grammar, and overall quality. ✨Final Draft: Finally, learners will polish their paragraphs to perfection, ready to present their best work with the confidence of a Pokémon champion. Example of Schedule: Week 1, Class 1: - Choose our first prompt. - Focus on brainstorming, writing out ideas, and organizing them. - Learners will be asked to write their first draft at home. Week 1, Class 2: - Review, revise, and edit their first drafts together. - Pick our next prompt. - Learners will be asked to write their final draft at home and submit it to me for grading.

It's important to ensure you've selected the appropriate grade level materials for your learner, including narrative, opinion, and informative pieces. Storing them in a binder is a convenient way to keep everything organized.

Hey there! Welcome to my classroom! I’m Miss Sammi, and I’m absolutely thrilled to be a part of your child’s educational journey. I attended the University of Toledo, where I studied Early Childhood Education and during my time there, I gained such valuable experiences that it made me realize how much I truly love teaching.
Being a creative mom, I love designing fun games and activities to keep my little one engaged. Playtime is not only enjoyable, but also a fantastic opportunity for children to learn and develop.
I am often referred to as ‘Snow White’ by my loved ones because of my deep affection for animals. I have the pleasure of caring for four fur babies of my own, and I make sure to take care of all the outdoor critters like deer, birds, opossums and raccoons.
As an educator, my primary objective is to create a dynamic and nurturing learning environment where students can not only learn effectively but also enjoy the process. My utmost priority is to make sure that each student feels respected, valued, and listened to. I keep all of my classes small so that I can give each learner what they need.
