Gotta Catch Em' All!! Learners will work together as a team to catch all the Pokémons by solving math problems. If they solve the problems correctly, they will catch a pokemon. In the end, learners will earn a BADGE for a specific Math skill in each class. Come join us to become a Pokémon math master in the world! We’ll explore addition & subtraction within 10, using the ten frame-blocks, number lines, number bonds, and the Singapore bar models. The content aligns with first-grade math, we’ll look at the questions, teach different strategies to solve the problems and children will type in their answers in the chatbox.

About our Visible Thinking Math classes:
In our technology-driven society, Mathematics is undoubtedly essential in education because it is the foundation of all sciences and technology. We believe helping children mastering Mathematical skills will build a solid foundation for their future. We aim to inspire children to become innovators and creative problem solvers so that they can pursue their dreams.
Our Methods:
Students are provided with different visual ways of looking at math including the world-renowned Singapore bar modelling approach. The learning journey begins with the concrete and pictorial stages, followed by the abstract stage to enable them to learn mathematics meaningfully. This approach encourages advanced (higher-order) thinking process, communication of mathematical ideas, and problem-solving.
Our teachers:
We're a group of passionate educators who have Mathematics and/or Science related degrees and passed the Mentorhood Teacher Training which specialized in online teaching and the Singapore Bar Modelling method.

**Attendance & Absence Policy**
Planned Absence: Families inform us at least 24 hours before class, the class will be refunded or rescheduled. Teacher will not be paid for that refunded class.
Sick Leave: Families inform us at least 24 hours before class, the class will be refunded or rescheduled. Teacher will not be paid for that refunded class.
If 24 hours in advance is not possible, that sick leave will be taken as an emergency.
Emergency: Families inform us as soon as possible before class, the class will be refunded or rescheduled. Teacher will not be paid for that refunded class.

If your learner has not joined the meeting 10 minutes after the class’s start time, the meeting will be canceled. This is considered a missed meeting and you are not entitled to a refund.
