In this small (1-3 student) Writing and Drawing Game, Confidence and Kindness Artist Ms. Leslie, a 5-Star ACE Educator and Outschool Outstanding Educator, will begin with a guessing game. She will give players clues. Students write and draw their answers. After three rounds, students use their answers to write and illustrate a short story, then share their story with the class. No matter your experience with writing and drawing, you will be successful in this class. Ms. Leslie's will encourage you to be yourSELF. Students will learn to listen to their instincts (story) and to their hearts (art) while creating stories.
I am highly skilled in the art of inclusion, a kind and confident person and a seasoned communicator. I have worked with elementary school aged students for 14+ years, building confidence and kindness skills through art and conversation. Prior to working with grades K-4th, I have 25+ years of experience in business, motivating and teaching people how to believe in themselves and how to take action. My many parent reviews say that I am a kind, patient, motivating and uplifting teacher. My degree is in Psychology. My love is teaching kindness and confidence to kiddos. My favorite thing to do in life is to laugh and learn.

It is easier for everyone to see their work when presented to the camera if a black marker is used. We don't color our illustrations in this class, but students are encouraged to color after class. I choose to use the time we would be coloring to give students more clues.
