- Learning Goal: By the end of this virtual 2nd-grade math class on place value, number sense, and adding/subtracting fun, students will be able to: Objective: Demonstrate a clear understanding of place value, confidently identifying the ones, tens, and hundreds places in multi-digit numbers. Employ appropriate strategies for addition and subtraction within 100, including regrouping when necessary. Apply their number sense to solve real-life math problems and engage in mathematical reasoning. Participate actively in interactive activities and games, enhancing their enjoyment of mathematical concepts.
I have 8 years of teaching experience, 7 of which were in 2nd grade. I am dedicated to differentiating learning while making sure it is also fun and memorable!
