Do you like watching Pixar movies? Do you like talking about them? Then this is the perfect group for you. This is an on-going movie club where we will watch all 26 Pixar movies and talk about them with other Pixar movie fans like yourself! Prior to class: Learners should watch the assigned weekly Pixar movie, answer questions in their movie reflective journal, give the movie a rating and draw a picture of the movie poster (optional). Class time will consist of a guided group discussion...
Learners will become more comfortable with expressing their thoughts and opinions in a group setting. They will have a better understanding of storytelling elements and why they may like certain movies over other ones. Learners will gain practice and confidence with self-expression and communication skills.
I have been a substitute teacher for six years for pre-k to high school students in all subjects. I am an avid movie fan and love all things film related. I have been an actor and filmmaker for the past seven years and enjoy teaching young people about the movie industry.
