課堂經歷
In this live, one-time class, learners will enjoy a 30 minute class all revolving around Love and Inclusion! We will begin our class with short intros from each learner. Following introductions, we will read our story "Pinkalicious: Pink of Hearts" by Victoria Kann and talk afterwards about some Sight Words we saw in our story. I will display certain pages of our stories and we will create sayings to put on our Wreaths using the Sight Words. We will then dance to some fun Pinkalicious music as well as songs about L-O-V-E. Following our story and dancing, we will create a wreath using hearts. On the hearts, we will write phrases using some simple sight words. At the end of class, each learner will have a colorful Wreath to display at home or give as a gift!

We will be using scissors and if there are younger learners, they may need some assistance using them. Please stay close just in case assistance is needed with the scissors.
If learners are newer to writing letters & words, an adults guidance may be necessary.

I teach Movement classes in studio and online as well! I have been teaching dance for 15+ years to all ages (18months - adult) as well as Fitness classes to kids and adults. Dance has been a major part of my life for 32 years and I love bringing that passion to others. I've worked with young and old, special needs, low-impact or injured, wheel-chair bound, and all others!
I believe that Dance/Movement is a rare "sport" that is all-inclusive; gross and fine motor skills, spatial awareness, emotionally stimulating, builds self-confidence, improves discipline & listening skills, and much more.
My family consists of my super supportive husband, my oldest daughter (8) youngest daughter (6), and then the littlest one is 3years old, but he was born 3-1/2 months early. We spent a significant amount of time in the NICU in the city we live in and are forever grateful for modern medicine! Our life has been a rollercoaster and, as crazy as this sounds, I wouldn't have it any other way... mostly. haha!
Being a mama myself, I try to be flexible with my schedule and appreciate the understanding from parents as I navigate our medically complex son's needs as well as two active girls!
I offer discounts to siblings, love to work with groups that want to dance together online, and I am always willing to work with you on group discounts, multi-class discounts, and one-on-one private lessons!
