每週 1 小時. Homework will be 2 or 3 problems/questions after the completion of each topic. They will be graded accordingly and required for all students.

Assessment will be a take-home assignment but will be discussed in class with all students to make sure they really understand the procedure. It's required for all students.
評分
Grades will be provided by default for all learners. Grades will be a confirmation for the students that they understood the concepts. Assessment will be based on discussions and homework.

課堂經歷

Class will involve different topics in classical mechanics which are mathematical review, kinematics and motion in 1D and in 2D forces and newton's Laws, work and energy, linear momentum, and gravity and circular motion, rotational motion and torque. Each topic will be covered in each class with worked examples and different case scenarios for the problems. Each week session will include the discussion of the topic and teaching will be based on these discussions as I will highly encourage questions and expressing ideas and describe background information. After each topic there will be dedicated problems covering the concept and showing the learners' understanding in the form of homework. Homework will be discussed with the students at the beginning of each session, making sure all the student attempted the problem and following up from the last step they arrive to. Homework should basically raise the students' confidence, as they will be introduced to the ideas in class and they should see their skill in solving the problem by learning by repetition and other problems that tackle creativity. Assessment will be given in the 9th week which is the week before the final week, it will be a take-home assessment on all the topics introduced and demonstrate the understanding of the students and their developed skill. Assessment questions will be solved together with the students in the last session with final remarks and advice.

Mathematical Review
 This lesson is about introducing important and very frequently used mathematical background to understand physics and solve problems. Algebraic manipulations, Geometry, Vectors and vectors components.

 This lesson is a continuation of the previous lesson. Introducing Metric units and conversions, Significant digits, Graphing and graphing analysis.

 This lesson is about introducing Kinematics in definition and equations and graphical analysis of motion.

 This lesson is about introducing the motion but in 2D as a build up of motion in 1D in definitions and equations.

I am a Nuclear Engineering PhD student at Penn State University. I recently graduated my Master's degree. I'm a Research Assistant currently, but when I first arrived I worked as a Teaching Assistant, the course on Radioactive Waste. Back in Egypt, I was teaching in reputable science centers like Bibliothca Alexandrina, I taught physics as a volunteer to different age groups of students ranging from 14 to 21, variety of topics on this subject, classical mechanics, modern physics, and electricity and magnetism. I was also a Teaching Assistant teaching freshmen physics and tutoring physics labs.
