課堂經歷
Class will involve different topics in classical mechanics which are mathematical review, kinematics and motion in 1D and in 2D forces and newton's Laws, work and energy, linear momentum, and gravity and circular motion, rotational motion and torque. Each topic will be covered in each class with worked examples and different case scenarios for the problems. Each week session will include the discussion of the topic and teaching will be based on these discussions as I will highly encourage...
11 lessons//11 Weeks
Week 1Lesson 1Mathematical ReviewThis lesson is about introducing important and very frequently used mathematical background to understand physics and solve problems. Algebraic manipulations, Geometry, Vectors and vectors components.Week 2Lesson 2Cont. Mathematical ReviewThis lesson is a continuation of the previous lesson. Introducing Metric units and conversions, Significant digits, Graphing and graphing analysis.Week 3Lesson 3Kinematics and 1D MotionThis lesson is about introducing Kinematics in definition and equations and graphical analysis of motion.Week 4Lesson 4Motion in 2DThis lesson is about introducing the motion but in 2D as a build up of motion in 1D in definitions and equations.Week 5Lesson 5Forces and Newton's lawsThis lesson is about introducing forces and their analysis and Newton's laws of motion.Week 6Lesson 6Cont. Forces and Newton's lawsThis lesson is a continuation of the previous lesson focusing on Free Body Diagrams and problem solving techniques.Week 7Lesson 7Work and EnergyThis lesson is about work and energy definition and understanding and work-energy theorem.Week 8Lesson 8Linear momentumThis lesson is about understanding linear momentum and related concepts and definitions.Week 9Lesson 9Gravity and circular motionThis lesson is about understanding gravity and studying circular motion with related forces and analysis.Week 10Lesson 10Rotational motion and torqueThis lesson is about understanding rotational motion and related definitions such as angular acceleration, angular momentum, and angular velocity. Also, understanding the concept of torque.Week 11Lesson 11Assessment group solvingSolving the assessment exam together sharing thoughts and different ideas
- Learners should gain confidence and extensive practice after this course.
I am a Nuclear Engineering PhD student at Penn State University. I recently graduated my Master's degree. I'm a Research Assistant currently, but when I first arrived I worked as a Teaching Assistant, the course on Radioactive Waste. Back in Egypt, I was teaching in reputable science centers like Bibliothca Alexandrina, I taught physics as a volunteer to different age groups of students ranging from 14 to 21, variety of topics on this subject, classical mechanics, modern physics, and electricity and magnetism. I was also a Teaching Assistant teaching freshmen physics and tutoring physics labs.

Homework
頻率: 包括回饋: 包括細節: Homework will be 2 or 3 problems/questions after the completion of each topic. They will be graded accordingly and required for all students.Assessment
頻率: 包括細節: Assessment will be a take-home assignment but will be discussed in class with all students to make sure they really understand the procedure. It's required for all students.等級
頻率: 包括細節: Grades will be provided by default for all learners. Grades will be a confirmation for the students that they understood the concepts. Assessment will be based on discussions and homework.
