In this class we will use your child's knowledge of letters and their sounds to help them read and write! We will primarily focus on reading and spelling long vowel, Magic E (Silent E, CVCe/VCe) words in this class through fun and engaging activities such as phonics bingo, picture/word sorts, reading decodable texts, and other literacy activities and games! Class Structure: 1. Letter-Sound Recognition warmup 2. Reading Words warm up - we will practice how to segment (sound out) and blend sounds in short vowel and magic e words 3. Game time!
