We will be working on phonemic and phonological awareness concepts throughout this course. Topics we will cover include: -Rhyming -Segmenting -Blending -Sound Order -Syllables We will meet 2 times a week for 8 weeks. While the content does build, we will do a short review in the beginning of each lesson. Typically I follow the I do, We do, You Do model of lessons. For this course I will start with our warm-up activity, teach the concept, practice the concept together, and then have students practice their skills in a game or activity that allows each individual a chance to engage with the concept. I will monitor student progress throughout the course; however, formal assessment will be limited. If you would like your child assessed for level/progress please reach out to schedule a private session.
