Students will actively listen to a live reading of "Pete the Cat and His Four Groovy Buttons". They will be taught a song and dance to go along with the story and play a simple math game with the teacher using large buttons.

The lesson will be taught targeting all different types of learning domains including cognitive, mathematics and science, language and literacy, and creative arts and musical. Students are guaranteed to improve their comprehension skills.

My name is Ms. Kat and I teach Preschool and Kindergarten Readiness classes! I have been teaching for over 10 years. I graduated from Baylor University with a degree in Early Childhood Education and currently am seeking my Masters in Early Childhood General and Special Education from Bank Street College of Education. I have experience with a wide range of ages from newborns to 4th graders, but specialize in ages 2-5 years old. I have experience teaching English in Thailand, teaching in a public school pre-K, running a gymnastics based preschool program, and am currently in the process of opening a brand new childcare center. I believe that children learn through play and I like to incorporate a lot of movement, singing, and reading into my lessons. All of my lessons are STEM based and center around a story or a book. I live in Brooklyn with my husband, 3 children, and cat!評論
