I am a licensed teacher in the State of Indiana with over 25 years experience teaching, tutoring and coaching.  I have been trained in the Orton-Gillingham method by The Dyslexia Institute of Indiana and in Kindergarten OG by the M.A. Rooney Foundation.  I have also completed Advanced Orton-Gillingham Training and Written Expression Training through the Dyslexia Institute of Indiana.  I have completed courses on Dyslexia, Structured Literacy, and Autism through the Montessori Foundation.  I have also taken one of Dr. Becky Bailey's Conscious Discipline training.  I am a professional member of the International Dyslexia Association.  I have completed LETRS training through Voyager Sopris Learning, earning Certificates of Mastery for each of the eight units (earning scores of 98% or higher for every assessment).  In 2018-2020 I worked in a private Montessori school serving students who have Individual Service Plans. I homeschooled my own children in Grades 1 through 8, gaining experience with a variety of homeschool curriculums.
