The course will give individualized instruction in piano. Topics covered include: Keyboard orientation- learning names of keys Rhythm- quarter , half and whole note counting Theory- learning notes on the staff, and playing songs Technique- proper posture and hand position A 30 minute lesson would include a portion from all these topics, gradually increasing in knowledge and ability. Class is interactive with questions and answers, demonstrations and worksheets. I teach with a relaxed, fun...
Goals are to read music, develop ear for music, and learn to play songs on the piano, and have fun!
I have been teaching piano for over 30 years, experienced with all ages, and with teaching online. Member of the National Piano Guild.
