This one-time class allows your learner to sample both the IEW writing method and my IEW classes.  This class will follow the same format as my semester-long IEW classes. 

Class opens with a greeting time and class guidelines. 

The first segment of class focuses on writing mechanics and style through group exercises. This class will discuss complete sentences, the Oxford comma, and using quality adjectives.

Our main writing lesson time focuses on writing structure through a teaching time and group writing exercises. We will practice key word outlines, paragraph structure, and editing.

The last segment of class is a brief review exercise.

A writing assignment will be given in the classroom following the class. Work may be submitted to me via Outschool messaging for editing and feedback.
