This class will help your beginning artist gain confidence in their painting skills. To begin class students will introduce themselves and we will go over class rules. From here I will show an example of the painting for the week. Together we will paint with step-by-step visual instruction. We will use paint to add dimension and interest to our paintings. During paint time I will encourage students to have free talk and often initiate conversation. Once we have completed our amazing paintings...
- Understand paint terminology such as: acrylic paint, brush, palette, blend
- Explore and experiment with different painting techniques such as: blending and brushwork
All learners are welcome in my classes. I do encourage socialization, but it is not required. Class can be taught in a one-on-one setting by request.
Variety of Acrylic Paint - Minimum of 4 colors Paint brushes - Minimum of three different brushes Q-Tips - Best if bundled in groups of three and held together with a small rubber band Canvas or Paper - I will be using a black canvas
