The purpose for this course will be to teach the student about the P-61 Black Widow aircraft, the historic significance during World War II, facts about the different variants of the aircraft, and how the aircraft was used around the world. The focus will be on the historic facts and scientific innovation about this aircraft and how it served in the war as a nighttime interceptor. There will be an attached note taking document with pictures to help the student learn and retain the information in this course. There is also a video of the P-61 aircraft and history during WWII. The desire of the teacher is to engage the students with questions and dialogue to help them further learn the material and answer questions. There will be no assigned homework in this class and the teaching style will be lecture via power point material with a few questions asked of the students.

To learn both historic and scientific information about the P 61 Back Widow aircraft. This class will delve into the aircraft variants, WWII combat usage, and scientific innovation of the first time used nose mounted radar.
