We’ll cover everything from creating a balanced routine with proper nutrition, exercise, and sleep, to managing stress, building resilience, and navigating healthcare with confidence. You’ll explore the key components of self-care and health independence, gaining practical skills to manage your physical, mental, and emotional well-being. The course will also teach you how to make informed health decisions and advocate for yourself in healthcare settings. We’ll cover a range of topics, starting with building healthy habits and routines, where you'll learn the importance of nutrition, exercise, and sleep, and how to incorporate them into your daily life. We'll then explore mental and emotional well-being, focusing on techniques for managing stress, building resilience, and fostering positive relationships. You’ll also navigate the basics of healthcare, including how to prepare for doctor’s visits and make informed health choices. Finally, you’ll create a personal self-care plan, developing a customized routine tailored to your individual needs and goals. Additionally, reflection activities for mindfulness and gratitude are provided. The course is designed as an engaging journey through self-care and health independence. We’ll begin with the basics and gradually build up to more complex concepts, ensuring you have a solid foundation before moving forward.
