Does even hearing the word 'test' cause tension or fear? This class teaches a variety of calming and mindfulness strategies specifically geared towards reducing test-taking anxiety, as well as several test-taking skills one can use during testing. Through explanation and practice of these skills, learners will become more confident in their ability to take tests without the associated anxiety! By the end of class, learners will have gained new skills and will be provided with a handout...
I have multiple years experience teaching test-taking skills to both teens and adults, for tests ranging from regular classroom tests, to the SAT and ACT, to GED tests.
A handout detailing all skills learned in class will be provided. Learners should come to class prepared with paper and something to write with.
