義大利語的起源

Together we will discover the history of the Italian language.
In this class we will cover the following topics:
- How many languages do we speak in Italy;
- How a language is formed;
- How old is Italian and who where the Latin people;
- What is a dialect and why are they so important;
- A very Italian Phenomenon: il campanilismo;
- What is happening to the Italian language now;
- Why is important to speak more than one language.

We will start this lesson with a brainstorming about Italy and Italian (no previous knowledge is require to join this class). I will ask students to write any question they have. If they don't find an answer during the presentation, there will be a Q&A at the end.
I will show students a map of every language spoken in Italy and we'll start our journey. Following a presentation, we will pass from one topic to another looking for all the answer to students questions.
During the presentation there will be time for activities that students will complete.
