During this interactive one-time class, students will create Pikachu made from origami paper. Before we begin creating the project, I will present some information about the art of origami, I will explain some basic folds in origami, and I'll share some tips for folding paper. I teach origami using a step-by-step method. I adjust my pace according to the level of my students and I repeat steps as needed to make sure that all of my students are able to complete the project. Materials: Origami Paper (6" X 6" or larger)** Markers, crayons, or colored pencils **Origami paper can be found at most craft stores as well as online. If you cannot purchase origami paper, I can show you how to cut copy paper into a square during class.
