** Dazzling Minds Academy always teaches to 1 student, if you DO NOT see students enrolled that means your child will be the only one in class. Our teachers do not mind, but I know sometimes students want to be with other students in the class. Please reach out if you have any questions** **This is an ongoing course, please read the entire class description before signing up** This is a level 1 class, which means that the mystery games will be easy enough for the kids to figure out. In this level, students will practice addition, subtraction, patterns, matching, counting money, and other simple math operations to solve the mystery of who the culprit is. If you want a more challenging class then I suggest my level 2 CSI class. It helps if you’re child knows how to add and subtract up to 20. You do not have to attend previous classes to attend any of the other classes. Each class we will solve a different mystery where kids will practice math problems to solve who the culprit is This is an ongoing class that meets once a week to solve the best math mystery stories and I guarantee that your child will love being a detective. If your child has ever taken a mystery class with me then you know what the math games are like. Students will use their math skills to find the culprit of mystery math games each week. Those stories are filled with 4-5 clues but lots of math decoding problems such as addition, subtraction, money, fractions, angles, equations, and many more math operations that students encounter throughout their math classes. Every mystery has a different level of difficulty or easy challenge since every mystery is different. We will go by each clue to solve who the culprit is and your child will be using all their math skills. Each week will be filled with new and exciting mystery puzzles, the puzzles don’t build on one another therefore it is okay if your child joins in week 2 or week 5. Every week consists of a different math puzzle and operations that your child will work on. Please note that I offer one-time classes as well as flex classes for this type of mystery story if interested. I will share my screen with students and provide them with a printable copy of the mystery game so they can follow me. Dazzling Minds Academy, founded by Erika Corona, offers a variety of fun escape rooms and fun math classes. Dazzling Minds Academy specializes in escape rooms and math classes where students will use their critical thinking skills in both math and decoding ciphers to ensure that students learn while having fun.
Up to now, Dazzling Minds Academy, has served over 6,900 students in both live and flex classes. Our flex classes offers prerecorded instruction where each child can follow along with Teacher Erika to ensure that every objective is fully understood. Our live classes are filled with fun mysteries decoding ciphers and fun technology use such as Kahoot.
Dazzling Minds Academy offers all types of classes; Flex, One-Time, Ongoing and Multiday to ensure that parents choose the best option for their child.
All courses are designed by Teacher Erika and taught by highly qualified teachers that are excited to teach and ensure that every child has fun while learning.
Dazzling Minds Academy vision is to ensure that every child learns by having fun. Our escape rooms are fun, yet challenging and our math classes are carefully prepared to ensure each child learns the objective. We offer over 60 flex classes of Math, Writing, Grammar full curriculum PDF journals as well as fun classes with decoding ciphers
