In this ongoing class, learners will meet to explore their own unique voice and learn healthy techniques to unlock the potential that all music makers have. No previous experience is necessary, and beginners are more than welcome. Singers will start by warming up their voices with vocalise and technique exercises. We will then sing through a couple of well known warm-ups and singers-choice songs and apply what we learned. Singers will be welcomed to sing unmuted one at a time, if they...
Students will learn vocalise and technique to aid in their vocal production and may have the opportunity to apply those techniques in song.
I am a professional classical soprano in NYC and have been teaching music for over 20 years. I have a Masters in Music degree from the Manhattan School of Music. (Please see my teacher profile for more detailed information.)

It is recommended that learners have water nearby and a quiet area to sing in. Background noise will make it difficult for me to hear.

This class meets once a month for 55 minutes. It is highly recommended that you enable original sound on your Zoom settings so that I may be able to hear your learner. It is really difficult to learn music when there is a lot of background noise or distractions.
