I teach one-on-one in any concept or skill in math your child wants to learn or is struggling with; ECE to Grade 5. If they don't have a topic or skill in mind, I will assess gaps in their math skills/abilities to find out what exactly your child needs help with. Please request for some preliminary questions to help me teach this first class effectively or leave me details about your child's math level and grade level and what you want me to teach them. I will share notes in the classroom...
Students will learn the fundamentals of any math concepts or skills they may be struggling with or want to accelerate in. They will gain confidence in their ability to work with math concepts. They will get lots of practice and learn at their own pace and speed and time as I use a fun website to get them started with before making it more challenging for them.
I love math and am very effective with one to one teaching, tutoring is the best intervention you can provide to your children. I have tutored for the past 20 years with all kinds and types of learners. I love teaching and thrive when I see my students learning so much and having those Aha! or Eureka! moments especially in math.
If you let me know ahead of time what math concepts you want covered, I can find suitable handouts. I will help you with whatever questions you have for doing math with your children.
