Topics that can be covered include Number Skills, Algebra, Geometry & Measure, Probability & Statistics, Ratio Proportion & Rates of Change. I specialise in GCSE, Further GCSE, AS and A level. My teaching style is focused on increasing confidence in mathematics, while developing core mathematics ability. I follow a holistic learning approach, so that each session is individually tailored to the students needs. I will also focus on good revision methods and exam technique, as exams approach. Students are encouraged to ask questions that help them understand, in a friendly and supportive environment. I may start by going over an example, and then the student can try a similar example, or we may work through a more tricky example together. As a learning coach, if required, I may also assist in equipping students with skills that can be applied across their curriculum such as test-taking techniques, effective study methods, and time management in exams. I specialize in tuition and home education online.
