Teacher will guide the student in warm ups to focus on technical aspects including tone control and improving overall sound. Student will work on learning melodies by rote, as well as learning to read music. Work will be at the student’s pace and tailored to their level! Students will learn to read music note names, memorize fingerings, learn to read notated rhythms & replicate rhythms produced by the instructor, learn to sight read music, learn to improvise, learn about composers, key signatures, time signatures, etc…all depending on the student’s level!
