These one-on-one math sessions will be catered to the learners specific needs. I work with all learners, public school and homeschool students alike.

Learners can choose from various formats, including, but not limited to:
~homework help: I can assist with any homework the learner may have
~review of previous standards/lessons: I can break down concepts previously learned to help the learner better understand them. This can be specific concepts or standards the learner is struggling with, or I can start at the beginning of the year and work through the standards to assist the learner.
~preview of upcoming standards/lessons: I can expose the learner to upcoming standards to help them feel more comfortable in class because they have a basic understanding.
~math fact practice: Math fact fluency is extremely important as students move through school. Many concepts can become more difficult if learners aren't fluent with their math facts. I can work with students to practice their fact fluency.

School out for the summer? I can work with your learner to review the skills from the just completed school year, go back to strengthen core skills (fact fluency, reviewing number sense, strengthening word problem skills, etc), or preview what the learner will be getting the upcoming school year.

The more specific the information I receive, the better I can tailor our session to your learner's needs. Please let me know ahead of our session what your learner needs so I can be prepared for our first meeting!
