When you book private tutoring, we will work together to establish goals for each session. I can help your child fill gaps in their understanding, teach new content, or help them get ahead in class. 

I offer tuition for middle school math as well as Key Stages 2 and 3, following the National Curriculum. I particularly like to help students who are feeling a little lost in math to find their feet again and build confidence.

I can cover topics such as long division, fractions and decimals, place value and the rules of number, and number sense (comparing numbers of different sizes). I am also able to cover topics such as geometry and probability, as well as give help on homework.

My teaching style is conversational and encouraging. Your child will be an active participant in everything we do. My method is to include concrete, visual examples as children learn new content, with the aim of developing their ability to abstract ideas into new and different problems. 

I am upbeat and encouraging and really love both math and teaching children. This will shine through my sessions!
