~CALLING ALL AUTHORS~ Welcome to my classroom! A place where you are always important and where you’ll feel valued. Ideas and various strategies and skills are never in short supply in this class! You’ll never hear, “I don’t know what to write,” again. In this class, students will learn essential story elements and strategies that will strengthen and sharpen their writing skills. Strategies learned in this class will benefit your writer for years to come. 📅 This is a one time class....

Students will learn about the writing process and have the opportunity to write about a topic of their choice in a fun, laid-back environment. It's my goal for students to complete their graphic organizer and have between 1-2 paragraphs written by the end of class. Student output will vary depending on your learner and where they are at with their writing abilities. More emergent writers will realistically produce less than a more advanced writer.
I have nearly a decade of teaching experience. I have taught in the brick-and-mortar setting as well as online. I not only love to write, but I also love teaching writing. My degrees/certifications are: • Associates degree in Early Childhood Education • Bachelors degree in Elementary Education During my time in the public schools, I would frequently work 1:1 with special needs students to help them become better writers and accomplish goals outlined in their IEP’s.
