This class will explore the history, music, story, and choreography of the Nutcracker Ballet with a real professional dancer. See how a ballerina's pointe shoe helps her stand on her just the very tips of her toes, and learn how to tell a story using only movement. Class Structure: Welcome and Introductions Basic Ballet Warm-Up and Technique: Plié, Tendu, Relevé, Temp Lié, Arabesque, Passé Stretching Sharing the story and videos of The Nutcracker Ballet Learn a dance from the ballet Silly Game! Cool down and Reverence
