In this course, students will work with a certified instructor to develop targeted strategies for tackling each question type in the Non-Verbal sections of the CogAT, NNAT, and OLSAT.

The course is tailored to meet the needs of students at various levels. Whether your child is in 3rd grade and seeking a challenge or in 5th grade and working on foundational skills, these sessions will equip them with the tools and strategies necessary for success.

                                                                     Who Am I?

I am a certified EC-6th grade teacher with over 10 years of classroom experience. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, as well as two Master’s Degrees—one in Curriculum and Instruction and the other in Instructional Design. Additionally, I am certified in English as a Second Language (ESL) and Gifted and Talented Education (GT), equipping me to effectively support a diverse range of learners.

Why Choose Me as Your Child's Tutor?

With 6 years of experience teaching the CogAT, NNAT, OLSAT, and WISC exams, I’ve developed targeted strategies to tackle each type of problem. My systematic approach breaks down complex questions step-by-step, helping students understand and solve problems efficiently.

Beyond mastering test-specific techniques, I aim to build essential test-taking skills that benefit students on any multiple-choice exam. My ultimate goal is not only to teach effective methods but also to boost your child’s confidence, setting them up for success on test day and beyond.

                                                       Why Take Tutoring Sessions?

Enrolling your child in tutoring sessions is an excellent way to strengthen their skills and confidence. My sessions provide targeted support, focusing on your child’s unique strengths and areas for improvement to help them excel.

                                                           Session Benefits:

✅ Problem-Solving Skills:
Students will learn effective methods to approach and solve complex problems, fostering analytical thinking. These skills not only help them excel in specific test questions but also build resilience and adaptability for challenging academic tasks and real-life situations.

✅ Critical Thinking Skills:
My sessions emphasize logical reasoning and decision-making. By learning to critically assess information, your child will tackle multi-step problems, evaluate answer choices carefully, and make well-reasoned decisions across all subjects.

✅ Test-Taking Strategies:
Students will master essential techniques, such as time management, question prioritization, and answer elimination. These strategies significantly reduce test anxiety, prepare them to handle high-pressure situations calmly, and improve their overall test performance.
