As we look at the natural world around us, we see vibrant colors, don’t we? Green grass, yellow flowers, and red sunsets, for example. But do we see much blue? The color blue is quite rare in the natural world. Yes, there’s the blue sky and blue ocean, but not much else compared to the other brilliant shades of nature. I hold a BS degree which gives me a solid foundation in the sciences. I also have homeschooled my three children, and during their high school years we focused on the subjects of earth and physical sciences.
